Hello Everyone! It's a new year (even though we're a quarter of the way in) and what does that mean? More Brain Tumor Walks! These walks are incredible. All money raised goes to brain tumor research and helping brain tumor patients through the National Brain Tumor Society.
Here I have listed the upcoming Walks for the year. If there is one in your area, or close to you, I encourage you to start a team, raise money, and go walk with brain tumor survivors, their families, even the families of those who did not win their battle.
It is truly remarkable the people you meet and the stories you here at these walks. I walked the 3 miles and talked to four strong and wonderful people. Three had lost their husband, father, and mother to a brain tumor. The other had a nephew in the hospital fighting one.
I really encourage you to walk one of these. I am not sure which one I will be at just yet, but when I find out I will let you know and invite you to join my team and Walk with me!
Thank you for all your support for Get Through it Together and for the many people suffering from a brain tumor.
